Regular

Regular conference registration includes access to scientific talks and posters and exhibits, Sunday evening Welcome Reception, evening receptions on Monday and Tuesday, and coffee/tea breaks.

Student $350  $400

Student conference registration is available to full-time students up to and including Ph.D.  Student ID card is required.  See "Regular" description above for access and included items.

Spouse $100 $100

Spouse registration includes Sunday evening Welcome Reception, continental breakfast on Monday with presentation on what to see and do in Boston, evening receptions on Monday and Tuesday, and coffee/tea breaks. Does not give access to scientific talks or posters.

Freedom Trail Walking Tour              

$12

90-minute guided walking tour along the 2.5-mile Freedom Trail which traces the rich history of America’s Revolution — the events that led up to the historic break from Britain and the brave people who shaped America's national government.  1:30 pm meet in hotel lobby to walk to tour start.

John F. Kennedy  Presidential Library & Museum Visit

Two-hour excursion includes coach bus to and from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum and entry ticket.  The self-guided museum is dedicated to the memory of the United States' thirty-fifth president and to all those who through the art of politics seek a new and better world.  1:00 pm departure from conference hotel (by coach).

Duck Boat Tour

90-minute Duck Tour (DUCK --an amphibious WWII-era vehicle) is a great way to start off your visit to Boston. The tour is a great overview of the city, showing you many unique neighborhoods and splash you into the Charles River for a breathtaking view of the Boston and Cambridge skylines.  1:30 pm departure from hotel (by Duck boat).

Odyssey Dinner Cruise on Boston Harbor, Wednesday, August 11 (Following Excursions, departing from Hotel)

Departing by coach bus from the Boston Park Plaza Hotel we will board the elegant Odyssey ship.  Spectacular views of historic Boston Harbor and live entertainment enhance the three-course dinner with wine is included.  Cocktails and other drinks may be purchased separately.

Conference Banquet, Thursday, August 12

Banquet $75 Join your colleagues for an evening of conviviality and entertainment.  Banquet will take place at the conference hotel.

Proceedings Book, hardbound copy $50 Please note that electronic copy of proceedings will be included with registration materials.  AIP is making hardbound books available to attendees at a cost of $50 per book.  Abstracts published in the proceedings will also be accessible online via AIP.
